We had another successful client appreciation golf tournament in May, with nice weather and a good turnout of foursomes ready to play!
In addition to golfing at the beautiful Majestic Oaks Golf Club and photo opps with “Clean Response Man,” we held our version of trivial pursuit to draw for free prizes like a Yeti cooler and Twins tickets. Winners of the tournament, defending their 2016 title, were a trio from Insurance Brokers of Minnesota: Aaron Sorenson, Aric Sorenson and Shawn Nistler. Their fourth, Mike McCartney, could not make it this year, but helped them charge to victory last year. Congratulations!
As an added educational component, we shared information about a couple causes important to attendees. One is Fishing for Life, a charity that pairs boat guides with at-risk kids in the Twin Cities area to teach them to fish on area lakes. Insurance Brokers of Minnesota will host their charity golf tourney benefiting Fishing for Life in August, and Clean Response will sponsor a hole and donate some prizes. At our tournament, we also provided a short introduction to CornerHouse Minnesota, where since 1989 multi-disciplinary teams have advocated for children and vulnerable adults who experience abuse or violence. They also act as a resource to families and caregivers.
